Central Coast Health Promotion makes no attempt to associate cookies with users’ names or identities. Our server cannot find out your name or email address, or anything about your computer, by using cookies.

Aqua Sprint

Our Aqua Sprint app uses an API (application programming interface) to host game data. This includes a leaderboard to list top scores. Users of the app have the choice to submit their score to our leaderboard. This does not require the submission of personal information. For example, users can submit a name that does not identify them whatsoever. Once submitted, this username is stored on our API server indefinitely.

API hosting is managed using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings from Amazon Web Services (AWS). IaaS and PaaS services have achieved the following standards of compliance:

  • PCI DSS
  • ISO 27001
  • ISO 9001
  • IRAP

All data is stored in the AWS Sydney Data Centre. No customer information is ever stored outside of Australia.

Furthermore, the following security measures are taken with the data:

  • All communications are secured with TLS encryption.
  • Server logs are actively monitored and suspicious activity blocked and blacklisted.
  • Strict access control procedures have been implemented for access to core infrastructure.
  • No credit card details are ever stored, transmitted or processed.
  • All user passwords are encrypted using a salted SHA-256 hash.

You are entitled to request access to all of your personal information held by Central Coast Health Promotion. If you believe the information we hold about you is incorrect or an error has been made, please let us know and we will correct it or add a note to our records.
