New Thirsty website live

Our new Thirsty? Choose Water! website is now live.
The website has a range of downloadable resources and features for everyone – with specific resource pages for parents and carers, teachers and students.
Teachers can download a School Toolkit containing educational resources aligned with the NSW stage 4 curriculum such as lesson plans, classroom activities and PDHPE teacher training modules. There are also promotional materials for use such as posters, newsletter snippets and social media tiles to help integrate the Thirsty? Choose Water! program in secondary schools.
For parents and carers, there’s a fact sheet, mythbusters, and helpful hints and tips to help families choose water, as well as a sugary drinks calculator to calculate how much switching to water could save them.
Meanwhile, students can enjoy the new Aqua Sprint game available for free on mobile and tablet via the Apple App and Google Play stores, view mythbusters, fun facts, an animated video and more.
The website also features a Fundraising Pack with ideas, FAQs and promotional content to help schools, parents and carers or students start a fundraising campaign to raise money for a chilled water station, bottle re-filler or water cooler at their school.
In addition, schools can join a mailing list for further Thirsty updates, including registering to become a Friend of Thirsty to help kick start their school’s Thirsty? Choose Water! program with some limited edition goodies.
